What Every Child Needs—and Every Educator Should Know
Posted by Claudia Wood | Summer 2025 Training Series

Have you ever witnessed a child’s challenging moment become a powerful connection point—just because you paused, tuned in, and responded with care?

These are the moments that define our work in early childhood. And they don’t happen by luck—they happen when educators are equipped with tools, strategies, and insight.

That’s exactly what you’ll get at our upcoming training on Saturday, July 26, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

We’re offering two essential sessions that every early childhood professional should experience:

🌿 Tuned In: The Heart of Responsive Caregiving

Learn how to observe and respond to the social-emotional needs of young children. This session focuses on the “why” behind behavior and the “how” of building emotional safety in your environment.

🌟 Positive Guidance & Discipline

Discipline doesn’t have to mean punishment. Explore how positive guidance techniques can help children build self-regulation, solve problems, and develop social skills—while helping educators stay calm, consistent, and connected.

These sessions are built to support your everyday work with young children and meet Texas Minimum Standards training requirements.

Please share with fellow educators who are passionate about making meaningful connections with young children.

We can’t wait to see you on July 26!
